Hydroponics: Developing a "Grow 'Bot"
In the wintertime in Hoonah, vegetables are expensive, often wilted, and not consistently available. Commercial hydroponics equipment is cumbersome and very pricey. Ben's solution was to create a small, system that plays well in a living room, didn't require a techie-nerd to manage it — and could be built with supplies from our small-town Ace Hardware.
